The last 11 months have passed like a blur. It started with us meeting together with all the other ZEMA missionaries at our Annual Conference in January. We left from there to travel through the Eastern and Western Cape, via the Free State and Gauteng as we began this year of 'deputation and reporting back'. That swing through South Africa was followed by 5 months of intense visits into Mocambique, packing a years worth of ministry into those 5 months, and then since August we have been in the UK, then the US, traveled from Illinois through Iowa and Minnesota, to Ohio and back and have been really blessed by so many opportunities to meet with Churches and people whose hearts beat to the beat of missions ! We have been encouraged by your prayers, blessed by your pledges of support, built up in our faith by your anecdotes of life, honored by your words and have all round just had a marvelous year, even though we have probably slept in our own bed in Nelspruit less than 60 times the whole year and are now 'within spitting distance' of being at 100 % support for the first time in 23 years ! NOW IT'S TIME TO GO HOME, and as we pack, we just marvel at what God is able to do through ordinary people. We have one more appointment this Sunday in Zion and we fly out of O'Hare on Monday, arriving in Johannesburg on Wednesday morning.
When we get back we have to move Naomi away from Pretoria in preparation for moving next year to Grahamstown as she continues her studies there, and then in the first week of next year we'll be back at Sunbury.....back with all the other ZEMA missionaries which will have GROWN from last year and CONTINUES to grow......and we start a new year of ministry which YOU by your prayers and faithful support make possible. We are going to try to keep you as informed as we can, but would you today pray:
Every Blessing, Richard and Geraldine
