Outreach

• Pray for Didier and John as they continue to reach out to the refugees from French speaking African countries.

Missionaries:

• Pray for Brian and Lorraine Milner.  They are preparing to film lesson 5 of Vol. 2 of the puppet DVD. For more, go here.
• Congratulations to Lorna Bucklow. She has been asked to be on the staff at the Bible Institute in Kalk Bay. From Jan 2014 she will be the Dean of Women and the Administrative Assistant to the Principal. To take up this position Lorna will need to raise financial support and I ask you to pray for her, that she will receive what she needs. If you would like to help her, please contact her on 0763987867.

Church People and Ministries

People

• Joan Kotze’s mother passed away. The funeral service is on Monday afternoon in Somerset West.
• Mrs Staples, Elaine Galliers' mother, is in hospital with heart problems.
• Paul Erickson, Bruce’s brother, has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He will be going into hospital in Nelspruit on Monday for an operation.
• David Green has not been well.
• Sheraya Erickson and Christopher Teale are writing matric exams. 
• We give thanks that Immaculee Binwa is now better after her unfortunate miscarriage.

Ministry

• The Pulse Dinner Shindig will be held on Nov 1st. For tickets, see Peter Landry. This is a fundraiser for Summer Camp and let’s pray that it will not only raise the necessary money but also that we will draw in unchurched families and give us a chance to meet them.

Denominational

• Pray for Rev Clive Jacobs who is our Western Province Baptist Association Coordinator. He works, not just in an organising capacity, but also as a pastor to the pastors and a great encouragement to all the churches - a vast responsibility. 

Our Societal Needs

Our news has been filled with much violence lately – especially against children. Pray for the outpouring of God’s grace and love on our society and for the protection of children.

9.30am “The sovereign God is on His throne” Rob Swan will be the preacher. He is a final year student at the Bible Institute and he has a great gift of preaching and teaching. He will be preaching from Revelation 4.
6.00pm “Meeting Jesus – I am the way, the Truth and the Life!” – Peter Landry is the preacher.
