First of all, I encourage you to make petitions, prayers, intercessions, and prayers of thanks for all people, for rulers, and for everyone who has authority over us. Pray for these people so that we can have a quiet and peaceful life always lived in a godly and reverent way. -1Timothy 2:1,2 Missions
“We were back in Maputo where about 45 Church leaders gathered to be taught from God's Word. We're taking them through a series of lessons on the FAMILY and 'How to raise Godly Children'. TYPICALLY in Mocambique, children go quite regularly to Church - until about the age of 14 or 15......and then they DISAPPEAR ! The next 'major age block' in Churches are those older than 50 ! What has happened to that generation ? Well we know that the civil war in Mocambique had a lot to do with that. We know that life is hard in Mocambique and 'just to survive' takes a lot of effort, but sadly, many Churches 'just presume' that most 14 - 50 year olds are 'not interested', and VERY LITTLE IS DONE to truly DISCIPLE Children and so that 'generation' is often overlooked.” This is an important prayer need.
CBC Family When you pray for our church family, why not contact them – either phone call, sms, email etc – and let them know that they have been in your thoughts and prayers. This will be a great encouragement to all.
