April Update

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 

Our time in South Africa is fast coming to a close. We are scheduled to return to India on the 12th May. We have a few more speaking engagements in Cape Town where we are at present. We have enjoyed our deputation programme and we have much to be grateful for as we traveled far and wide.

Tammy's wedding went off well. We were blessed by our Lord's presence and by the company of family, friends and loved ones. We also had the pleasure of having a pastor and his wife from South India who had come to attend the wedding. They are one of our networking partners from Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. We had the opportunity of taking them down to KZN to preach in various churches there. 

It is good to know that our meetings in the villages have continued even though we were not there. The people took it upon themselves to continue until our return. This was very encouraging to hear. In a pioneering situation a serious concern is the question of what will happen when we leave. The Lord has given us an early indication of what might happen when the time comes for us to move on. On our return we will concentrate on consolidation and development.  

Our work in the village where we are seeking to plant the Gospel continues to present a real challenge. The young man Rajesh and his family have been showing keen interest in the Gospel - but they are finding it difficult to come out publicly for Christ Several factors may be responsible for this - one of them being the fear of persecution and of being ostracised. However we believe that the Lord knows those who are His and that the time will come when they will make a stand. We live in a constant state of expectation - remembering the words of William Carey who said " Attempt great things for God - Expect great things from Him. " We know that our God is full of surprises and that at the appointed time He will bring things to pass. 

Thank you for your part in this work the Lord is doing. Your prayers and financial support is going a long way towards our goal of reaching the LAST, the LEAST and the LOST with the life changing Gospel of Jesus Christ.Little by little the Kingdom of God is expanding through your partnership in this work. Our prayer is that through your giving the Lord Himself will bless you with all that you need for your life, your work and your ministry. We have not ceased praying for you and will continue to do so as He enables. May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
