Our Vision

 

In a word, the Fellowship Ministry of Claremont Baptist Church is about hospitality - opening our lives, homes and hearts to others for their refreshment, nurture, growth and enjoyment.  We provide the church body with times and spaces for connecting and deepening a sense of community, both among ourselves and with the "stranger".

 

Effective evangelism, worship, discipleship and service all take place within the context of relationships.  Our aim is therefore to provide opportunities for relationships to develop and grow.  Everyone longs for a sense of home, a place of hospitality where they sense they are accepted, valued, heard and loved just as they are.  When we create hospitable spaces, people are reached with the love of God and encouraged to become passionate followers of Christ.

 

Opportunities for involvement

  • Social dinner at the church.

  • The Seniors meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month to enjoy a varied program.  (Ruth Isaacson)

  • Concare provides meals to new Moms, those who are sick, etc. in the congregation.  If you'd like to help with a meal, or know of a need, let Flo Meintjes know.
