CBC Prayer Letter
Dear Partners in Prayer,
November is our thanks giving month. I trust that like the Psalmist you want to say “I will give you thanks forever.” I know that November is a busy month but in your quiet times lets all make the effort to reflect over 2009 and record just how God has blessed us and return our thanks to Him.

God bless,
Peter

Prayer for the week coming
Church Ministries:
· The seminar held last Saturday for the unemployed was a blessing to all who attended – lets give thanks for this.
· Do pray for our newcomers welcome evening on Thursday 12th Nov. Not only newcomers are invited, you are welcome to come and meet new people – just lets us know if you are coming.
· The Thanksgiving fund this month is split between helping the New Crossroads Baptist Church with a new ceiling and lighting and helping Liesel Reynolds go to Morocco to help care for orphans at the Baptist home known as the Village of Hope. Liesel will be sharing in the service this Sunday morning.
· The Sunday school are planning a super their Christmas program that will clearly bring the message of Christmas for Dec 6th.

For The World, Missions and Denominational matters:
· Pray for Ed and Vivienne Moses who are Baptist Missionaries in the south of India. The face many difficulties including extreme weather conditions as well as intense opposition to the gospel from local people as well as spiritual forces. However they are seeing the deep hunger the people have for the message of Christ. Their newsletter is on the notice board.
Denominational
· Pray for the Cape Town Baptist Seminary as they approach the end of the year pressures – especially Gordon Miller and Ronnie Davis (lecturers) and Dale Ferguson.
